Grab Sample Module (GSM)

The Swagelok® grab sample module (GSM) is a closed-looped sampling system that pulls from a positive-pressure process and returns back to the process at a lower pressure location using for example upstream of a pump, by using differential pressure to drive the fluid through the system. Samples are deposited into durable, pressure-rated metal grab sampling cylinders (GSC) that prevent the sample from escaping and protecting operators.

Grab Sample Liquid Systems (GSL)

The Swagelok® grab sample liquid (GSL) is a liquid-only sampling system used for drawing fluid into a non-pressure-containing bottle with a self-sealing septum cap, used in applications where the process fluid is not at risk of fractionating when stored at atmospheric pressure.

Swagelok® Ammonia Sampler

 

The Swagelok® ammonia sampler makes anhydrous ammonia sampling safer by minimising exposure to liquid and vaporised ammonia. It also introduces consistency into the sampling operation significantly expedites the sampling process and eliminates the transportation of ammonia samples within the facility.

Anhydrous ammonia is used in the production of fertilisers, plastics, textiles, petroleum, and more. To avoid ammonia stress corrosion cracking in storage tanks and product quality concerns, the product must be regularly sampled to verify a water content of 0.2% to 0.5%.

Swagelok’s closed-loop ammonia sampling unit is designed to remove the challenges inherent to traditional ammonia sample collection methods. The Swagelok ammonia sampler minimises hazardous exposure to the operator, introduces consistency into the ammonia sampling operation for more accurate results, expedites the gathering of results and adheres to the highest quality and safety standards.
